POLICE are appealing for information after four bikes were stolen in Peebles.
The thefts reportedly occurred in the Innerleithen Road area between 5pm on Tuesday, October 15 and 8am on October 16.
The stolen bikes are described as a green and purple Liv Bike; a grey and blue Whyte bike with pink writing; a purple Liv Bike and a Sand Canyon Excel Bike.
The collective value of the stolen bikes is around £9,900, according to officers.
All four bikes were attached to vehicles in a car park within the area and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.
Constable Scott Horsfall said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything to contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage in or around the area around the time of these thefts to please come forward.”
Anyone one with any information is asked to contact police on 101 with incident number 0583 of October 16, 2024.
