A TRIBUTE Garden will be assembled in Peebles as part of this year's Remembrance commemorations.
And you can sponsor a poppy.
The project has been organised by local group Floral Peebles.
A spokesperson said: "Floral Peebles are pleased to confirm that they will again be assembling a Tribute Garden in the Old Town.
"The garden is to pay tribute to a friend or relative who has served in our armed forces.
"War or peace. A way of saying thank you.
"The sponsorship of a poppy is £6 and can have a name and rank/unit if desired. Message John with details before November 2.
"The staff of the Castle Warehouse and Blackwood & Smith who are joint plant sponsors hope to have the time to assist Floral Peebles in the assembly at 10am on Friday, November 1.
