Peebles Youth Theatre has received two generous donations to help fund its activities.
The money from Brown Brothers Peebles and The Orcome Trust will go towards supporting the theatre's mission to provide "enriching theatrical experiences" for young people in the community.
A spokesperson for Peebles Youth Theatre said: "Peebles Youth Theatre extends its heartfelt gratitude to Brown Brothers Peebles and The Orcome Trust for their invaluable support.
"Their donations will help us continue to offer a variety of workshops and performances, fostering creativity and confidence among our young participants.
"The support of businesses and funding organisations is vital to enable our workshops to be offered free of charge to young people and ensure that there are no barriers to participation."
The theatre group was started after feedback from young people who wanted a group that is run by them and allows them to make decisions, choose productions, and identify workshops that will help them develop theatre skills, confidence, self-awareness, meta-skills, and leadership.
The group is currently fully booked for its workshops and is planning to put on its first production later in the year.
The group is planning to hold two fundraising events to help support its work.
The first will be a bag-packing event at Tesco Peebles on November 9, and the second will be a coffee morning at Peebles Rugby Club on November 23.
The spokesperson said: "We invite everyone in the community to participate in these events and help us continue to nurture the talents of our young performers."
