A RETAILER has opened its new ‘flagship’ store in a Peeblesshire town.

Homeware and coffee shop Haus and Co opened in Innerleithen back in 2022.

It has how relocated to a larger site at the town’s 51 High Street.

Haus and Co’s creative director Gary Smith said: “We want to offer the best possible shopping experience for customers every single time they shop with us.

“This new flagship store and café means we can deliver on that promise even more than before. I am excited to fling open our doors and to welcome customers to the new home of Haus and Co.”

Originally opened in 2022, Haus and Co won a Scottish Business Award for Best New Business less than a year later.

Since then the retailer has gone from strength to strength, launching an online store and developing its own interior design consultancy business.

As well as Scandinavian homewares, customers will now be able to find a new Haus and Co provisions range, which includes daily fresh sourdough bread from Kelso’s award-winning Naked Sourdough.

The range includes artisan olive oils, pastas, condiments, sauces and preserves.

The new shop involves a larger coffee shop and café.

Haus and Co will continue its partnership with Edinburgh-based coffee roastery Williams and Johnson, while increasing its food offering to include more sweet and savoury options, such as freshly-made deli sandwiches, scones and pastries, all which can be enjoyed at its new communal kitchen table.

It is open from Monday to Saturday. Check online for specific opening hours.
