THE Peebles Highland Games returned to Hay Lodge Park last weekend.
The annual event in Hay Lodge Park showcased Scottish traditions such as heavy events, Highland dancing and Pipe band.
A spokesperson said: “After such a brilliant Highland Games last year, we weren’t sure whether we’d be able to match that level of success for a while.
“However, our amazing organising committee have only gone and done it again at yesterday’s event in Hay Lodge Park.
“Thank you again to everyone who helped or contributed in any way.
“We are greatly indebted. And of course, thank you to all those that came along to enjoy the Games, creating a wonderful friendly atmosphere throughout the day.”
Next year’s event will take place on Saturday, September 6.
