BACKGROUND reports have been ordered at Jedburgh Sheriff Court into a hotel chef who admitted sexually assaulting two 17-year-old girls.
Thirty-three-year-old Michael Anderson pleaded guilty to the offences at the Ednam House Hotel in Kelso on November 9 last year.
The court heard that Anderson had been drinking at the bar and was extremely intoxicated at the time of the offences.
Anderson, who now lives and works in Edinburgh, had sentence deferred until August 26 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
He has also been made subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act.
