WITNESSES to a 'hit-and-run' in the Borders have been urged to contact the police.
The crash happened on the A6091 Melrose bypass near Borders General Hospital at around 3.30am on Sunday, June 30, according to officers.
A Ford Transit tipper involved in the collision failed to stop, say police.
It was last seen heading in the direction of the A68.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Could anyone who may have witnessed the collision or that may have dashcam footage relevant to the incident please contact us quoting incident number 0620 [of] June 30, 2024.”
