BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into a Tweedbank man who admitted charges of police assault and threatening or abusive behaviour.
Forty-six-year-old Neil Gray, of Craw Wood, pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to the offences.
Sentence was deferred until May 13 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report and a Restriction of Liberty Order assessment.
