A 25-YEAR-OLD man involved in two bust-ups with his partner has been ordered to stay away from the woman for the next two years.
Nathan Goff, from Hawick, pleaded guilty to two counts of threatening or abusive behaviour at the woman’s home on two dates in September.
On both occasions he subjected her to threatening or abusive behaviour and punched holes in the walls of the property.
Goff also breached court orders by attempting to contact her on two dates in October.
Defence lawyer Ross Dow told Jedburgh Sheriff Court his client had no previous convictions.
In addition to a non-harassment order, Goff was placed on supervision for 12 months and ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work as part of a community payback order.
