WELL known comedy TV names are set to head to the Borders for two nights of laughs this autumn.
Live Borders has teamed up with Gilded Balloon to bring The Big Fab Comedy Show, featuring big comedy stars, to the Volunteer Hall in Galashiels in October and November.
Famous names, including Catherine Bohart (8 Out of 10 Cats, The Mash Report), Sarah Keyworth (Mock the Week, Are You a Boy or a Girl radio show), and Chris Forbes (Scot Squad), will take to the Galashiels stage for two "rip-roaring" nights of live stand-up.
First up on Friday, October 27 will be Thanyia Moore (Richard Osman’s House of Games & Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled on Dave), Liam Farrelly (Live at the Apollo), Rosco McClelland (Twitch star) and the hilarious Catherine Bohart, with the night hosted by Chris Forbes.
The next offering on Friday, November 10. and hosted by BBC Scotland’s Breaking the News star Jay Lafferty, will be Sarah Keyworth, Joshua Bethania (2022’s So You Think You’re Funny winner), Shetland’s favourite Marjolein Robertson and topping off the night will be All Killa-No Filla podcast host and Live at the Apollo regular Kiri Pritchard-McLean.
The comedy nights are suitable for audiences over 16 years old, and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Doors for both events will open at 7pm with performances to get underway from 8pm.
