THE next round of this year’s Kings of the Sevens tournament takes place at Philiphaugh on Saturday.
The Harris Trust Selkirk Sevens event will be run on a knock-out basis.
The draw is as follows:
Kelso v Peebles
Gala v Currie
Selkirk v Berwick
Hawick v Boroughmuir
Melrose v Dalkeith
Edinburgh Accies v Aberdeen University
Jed-Forest v Linlithgow
Watsonians v Presidents VII
Jed-Forest currently sit top of the table with 48-points followed by Melrose who are second on 38-points. Hosts Selkirk are third on 35-points and Kelso are fourth on 23-points.
Gala are fifth on 20-points and Watsonians sixth on 18-points.
Edinburgh Accies are seventh on 14-points and Hawick eighth on 11-points.
Berwick are ninth on 5-points and Peebles, Earlston, Gala YM and Langholm all have 3-points.
The scoring system for the K7s is 10 points for the winner, 7 points for the runner-up, 5 points for the beaten semi-finalists and 3 points each for teams beaten in the Quarter Finals.
