As Bing Crosby's famous song suggests, each year people dream of a white Christmas - but what are our chances in 2021?
With the big day just one week away, weather forecasters have a clearer idea of if we can expect snow.
Here's what we know about a white Christmas in Scotland...
Will it be a white Christmas in Scotland this year?
According to BBC weather's long range forecast, much of Scotland could actually see snow on December 25!
As of December 17, BBC Weather predicts "light snow showers" for areas across the country.
On Christmas day, Glasgow is currently set to see snow between 5-8pm.
Clydebank is forecast to get some of the white stuff as well, and the same is true as we move East, with light snow forecast in Edinburgh from 8am all the way through to midnight.
Towns across East Lothian will also see light snow showers throughout Christmas day, while in parts of the Borders, it could snow lightly for the entirety of December 25.
The central belt could see snow throughout the afternoon, as could Dunfermline and towns across Fife, where it is likely snow from lunch time onwards.
Aviemore and Aberdeenshire are in for a chance of a white Christmas too, with snow predicted throughout much of the day.
Forecasts suggest Inverness will see snow on December 24, meaning it could be a white Christmas even though it isn't set to snow on the actual day itself.
Areas that will likely miss out on the snow include Ayr, where it is currently predicted to be cold and sunny, and Dumbarton and Helensburgh, where only cloud is predicted.
However with 8-days still to go, these forecasts could drastically change.
