New coronavirus cases have been recorded in the Borders
THE Borders has recorded 36 new cases of coronavirus in a 24-hour period, latest figures show.
An update was published by the Scottish Government at 2pm today (December 8).
And the new data shows that the Borders has now seen 11,330 coronavirus cases since the start of the pandemic.
There are eight people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Scotland has now recorded 752,805 cases since March last year.
