A BORDERS motorist who admitted careless driving has been fined £300 at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Sixty-five-year-old Angela Cumming, of Hawick, was originally charged with dangerous driving but before a trial was about to go ahead she pled guilty to the lesser charge of careless driving.
Five penalty points were placed on her driving licence.
