A police investigation is underway after a vehicle was set on fire in the Scottish Borders during the early hours of this morning (Friday 13th August).
The incident took place in Tweedholm Avenue, Walkerburn and officers are now appealing for witnesses.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 0130 am on Friday 13th August 2021 we received a report of a fire to a motor vehicle in Tweedholm Avenue, Walkerburn.
“If you have seen anything or know anything about the damage that has been caused then please contact us on 101 and quote incident number 0238 13/08/21.
“Alternatively If you have any information about this, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers 100% anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.”
