TWO men have been arrested and charged in connection with a drugs cultivation in the Borders.
On Thursday (May 9), at around 10.30am, officers in Hawick executed a warrant at a property on Havelock Street.
Around 360 cannabis plants were seized, with an estimated street value of £105,000.
The two men, aged 21 and 22, who were arrested and charged in connection with the drugs offences were due to appear at Jedburgh Sheriff Court today (Friday, May 10).
Detective Chief Inspector Robert Campbell of Dalkeith CID said: “This is a significant recovery which underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“We will always look to act on any information received on the supply of illegal substances and would encourage anyone with information about drugs in their area to get in touch.
